This recently completed project provides a 44,500 square foot prestigious Multi-Storey Energy Efficient (B Rated) Office Block with very high quality 'Grade A' Internal and External Finishes.

The building is steel-framed and masonry clad five-storey office block with under-croft to BREEAM Excellent standard and was constructed on a very confined urban regeneration city centre site adjacent to residential property including elderly persons accommodation, a medical centre and other offices.

The main atrium reception is from the Langley Walk tree-lined pedestrian walkway and also from the secure under croft parking with direct access to a second reception lobby at lower ground floor to maximise the use of this compact site. The building has a number of sustainable systems including:

  • Steel-framced construction with masonry cladding
  • Perimeter high efficiency gas fired low pressure trench heating system
  • Passive chilled beam air conditioning system
  • Mechanical air supply system to provide a comfortable working environment

The building and all services have been developed to form part of an overall strategy for providing a low energy easily maintainable building giving low overall life cycle costs thus reducing environmental impact.
