Robert Wiseman Dairies Market Drayton, Logistics Office & Additional Car Parking

Robert Wiseman Dairies negotiated with ourselves the construction of a new Logistics and Amenities Office, a 12 Bay Canopy over the existing Milk Transfer Station and an additional Car Parking Area. 

The works comprised of the following:-

Logistic and Amenities Office

Erection of a steel-framed building on concrete pad and strip foundations to form a single storey office.  Internal office finishes consisted of stud partitions with plaster finishes, demountable  partitioning systems, suspended and plasterboard ceilings, kitchen installation, toilets and ancillary accommodation to office areas.  Installation of all mechanical and electrical services, including electrical distribution, heating and ventilation, lighting, security, fire protection and lift installation.

12 Bay Canopy to Milk Transfer Station

Erection of a steel-framed cover on concrete pad foundations and drainage alterations.

Car Parking Area

Adjustment of levels, concrete hardstandings and tarmac circulation areas and drainage and landscaping works.

Throughout the construction period the Depot remained operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which through close liaison with the Clients’ Depot Manager we avoided any conflicts.  Our access to the site was from the existing entrance off the public access road minimising potential risk to the business and to the public.

Particular attention was made to the Build Base Store located nearby which had a frequent flow of traffic, thus we arranged our deliveries to avoid peak flow times.  Through carrying out the above methods we successfully completed the project on time and to budget.
