Sai Medical Centre, Medical Centre

The architecturally innovative one and two storey Medical Centre was awarded to A&H Construction  under a Design & Build Contract.  The replacement Medical Centre included provision for ‘Private’ as well as ‘Public’ Health Care Services for Dr’s Ray and Nair.

Constructed to the latest Healthcare Technical Guidelines the Medical Centre was built on derelict land out of a structural steelwork frame with precast concrete floors and a brick and blockwork external envelope.

The building contains 104 rooms providing modern hi-tech Consulting Rooms, a Minor Operations Theatre and associated facilities, incorporating:-

Treatment Rooms, Laboratories, Meeting Rooms, Training Areas, Counselling and Nursing Rooms as well as Reception, Waiting and Administration facilities.

Externally the site incorporates a mixture of hard landscaping in the form of pavements and car parking along with extensive soft landscaping areas.  Modifications to the existing access road

were also carried out.
