Queensway Business Park, Fourteen Industrial Units

Queensway Business Park is a twenty acre site in Telford.  After a competitive tender, A & H Construction were successfully awarded the Contract to Design & Build ‘Phase 2’, a four acre self-contained site consisting of five steel framed buildings providing fourteen units.

Following extensive ground remediation in the form of vibro-piling the steel framed buildings were housed upon reinforced concrete pad and beam foundations.  The external fabric of the building comprised a mixture of concrete block and brickwork, horizontal microrib composite flat panel and profiled vertical cladding, along with glazed aluminium windows and doors and sectional up and over shutter doors.

Internally, the finishes consisted of stud partitions with plaster finishes, suspended and plasterboard ceilings, kitchen installations, toilets and ancillary accommodation to office areas. 

The works also included the installation of all internal mechanical and electrical services, including electrical distribution, voice, data, heating and ventilation plant and equipment, lighting, security, fire protection, lift installation and all decorative finishes and fixings.

Externally, the following works were carried out; mechanical and electrical installations, service connections, roadways, pavements, car parking, foul and surface water drainage and landscaping.
