Centro Park & Ride, Park & Ride Facility

As part of Centro’s ongoing process of updating their Park & Ride facilities throughout the Midlands, A&H Construction won this Contract through a competitive single stage tender process.

The project involved converting a brownfield site into an ‘as free’ car parking area for users of the Train Station.  The works comprised of a general site clearance which included the breaking up of the existing hardstandings, the construction of a tarmac car parking area, including all the necessary drainage and soakaways. 

The entrance and exit were rearranged to form a separate ‘in and out’ route with height restriction barriers.

Fencing was erected along with the appropriate lighting and CCTV to provide security to the users.  The project was completed with the construction of paving’s and footpaths.
