Stourbridge College Gymnasium, Gymnasium and iZone

The scheme included the alterations to the existing Staff Refectory and infill of the adjacent courtyards with single storey structures to provide a new Gymnasium and iZone.

Works comprised of the following:-

• Demolition of a brick housing adjacent to the Boiler House, existing external wall with associated windows and curtain walling and raised planting beds and courtyard paving by hand
• Reinforced concrete pad and ground beam foundations
• Reinforced concrete ground bearing floor slab with service duct
• Structural steelwork frame
• Insulated cavity block external walls incorporating powder coated aluminium double glazed curtain walling, windows and doors with external render
• Flat roofing members with single ply membrane roof coverings
