Bingo Hall & Retail Terrace, Bingo Hall & Retail Terrace, Hednesford

This project formed the second of two Contracts awarded to A&H Construction by St Modwen Developments Limited as part of the complete re-development of Hednesford Town Centre.

The works comprised the construction of two Phases; the first involved the construction of the Bingo Hall and Retail Terrace, along with the adjacent road and car parking spaces. Phase 2 involved the re-configuration of the remaining car parking spaces and soft landscaping.

The phasing was developed to enable the continued use of the access road and 50 car parking spaces for the public and residents of nearby premises.

The Bingo Hall and Retail Terrace comprised of the following:-

• Reinforces Concrete Pad and Ground Beam Foundations
• Structural Steelwork Portal Frames
• Power-Floated Reinforced Concrete Ground Bearing Floor Slabs
• Insulation Cavity Brick/Block External Walls to 3.64m above Finish Floor Level and Insulated Profiled Steel Cladding above
• Powder Coated Double Glazed Curtain Walling, Windows and External Doors
• Profiled Steel Built-Up Insulated Roofing System, Mansafe Fall Prevention System and Tradition Rainwater Gutter & Down Pipe System
• Blockwork Internal Partitions between Units within the Retail Terrace
• Construction of Male and Female Toilets within the Bingo Hall consisting of Metal Stud Partitions, Mechanical Installation, Electrical Installation, Sanitary Ware, IPS Systems, Plastering, Floor Coverings, Decoration, Joinery and Suspended Ceilings
• External Works including Retaining Walls, Roadways, Pavements, Car Parking, Drainage, Services, Cycle Shelters, Bin Stores and Soft Landscaping
