Rifle Range & Drill Hall, Rifle Range for the Reserve Forces' & Cadets' Associations

This project formed the first of two Contracts awarded to A&H Construction by St Modwen Developments Limited as part of the complete re-development of Hednesford Town Centre.

The works comprised the construction of a single storey building forming a new Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Associations Facility (RFCA) with associated Rifle Range, reception and welfare facilities.  Externally works included the remodelling of an adjacent footpath to the park and construction of a new entrance roadway.

Building Construction comprised of:

• Single Storey Building on Reinforced Concrete Strip Foundations on Vibro Piled Ground
• Power-Floated Reinforced Concrete Ground Bearing Floor
• Traditional Cavity Walls with a Facing Brick External Skin, Insulated Cavity Walls and Blockwork Internal Skin
• Powder Coated Double Glazed Windows and External Doors
• Fair Faced Blockwork and Dry-Lined Partition Walls
• Internal Wall, Floor and Ceiling Finishes
• Mechanical & Electrical Installations
